Here, RC stands for red cedar, a type of tonewood that's known for shaping an especially warm, focused sound that finger-pickers in particular are bound to appreciate. Since the solid top of the Travel-RCE is made of red cedar and comes supported by a mahogany back and sides, this acoustic guitar is undeniably built for delivering a rich foundation sound.

The 'E' in the model name hints at the guitar's electro-acoustic design, which means that the Tramontane Travel-RCE features a Micro-LÂG preamp with a 2-band EQ and a built-in tuning device.
